WHO ARE WE ?

Big Evil Grin is an exciting new production company founded by Meghan Adara and Neil James with a huge passion for horror cinema.

Our aim is to produce entertaining genre films that focus on palpable atmosphere, strong acting, interesting storytelling, memorable characters, and unforgettable set pieces.

We feel strongly that our output will feature exceptional emerging talent, as well as established artists, both behind and in front of the camera in order to create spine-chilling films that thrill, terrify and captivate audiences.

Big Evil Grin are thrilled to announce that HACK will be our debut project and we can’t wait to get underway.

A dark red-tinted image of a house reflected in a body of water, surrounded by a forest. The top part of the image contains names in white and red text: Meghan Adara, Neil James, Annabella Rich, Kyle Jordan. The large, stylized text 'HACK' is across the center, with the letter 'A' resembling a house shape. At the bottom, there is text in white italics: 'Big Evil Grin Productions'.

A disgraced journalist, Amber Callan,  is enticed to travel to a secluded country house in order to carry out a filmed interview with a suspected serial murderer. Hoping this interview will revive her career, Amber recruits a small TV crew and they are collected and driven to the secret location where they meet their enigmatic interviewee.

However, all is not as it seems and when Amber's crew begin vanishing one by one, it becomes clear that someone is playing a very chilling game.

Shooting begins June 2026.
